The design of the welding torch is critical to the process. The torch must be designed to allow for emission of shield gas or airflow, positioning of the welding electrode, connection to the welding cables, and suction for contamination removal. The welding torches provided by MacGregor Welding Systems are based upon proven designs and are built to suit the needs of the product being welded. Models are available with up to 4 welding electrodes per head with customer defined welding electrode pitch. All torches are designed to allow automatic height adjustment of the welding electrode in automated welding systems.
